I have taken years of nutritional study, read hundreds of books and thousands of articles on nutrition, health, disease and healing, and I have tried to distill this information into a simple and usable form.
This information is meant to help anyone and everyone become healthy, to conquer disease or chronic conditions, or to simply achieve optimal health and longevity. Where applicable I have included reference books at the end of the articles if you are interested in learning more. Why are we so sick?
Starting in the 1950s with the invention of the super market and local grocery stores popping up all across the world, we have become accustomed to eating “food” that comes from boxes and cans. Eventually while eating these types of compromised foods, our bodies become compromised and we begin to suffer various symptoms. If we should then decide to report on our condition to a doctor, more often than not the answer we are given is not to alter our eating habits, but to take a medication. A pill for every ill.
Many people accept these solutions blindly on good faith, believing their care-giver to have their best interests in mind. We are willing to take pills with side effects that include cancer, stroke, heart attack, blood clots, and dementia!
But it because of a sort of monopoly that exists within the field of healthcare, it rarely occurs to us to seek out other types of solutions. It’s easier to disregard the fine print and side effects and hope for the best.
But there is a better way. There is a way to get better without accepting harm as part of the solution. We can create a world where sickness is an exception, not the rule.
We can eliminate the need for dangerous drugs with dangerous and deadly side effects. We can lose weight effortlessly while eating abundantly. We can say goodbye to cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
But to do this we need to make a choice. We need to choose to build health rather than try to merely treat our disease.
And how do we build health? We choose to eat more appropriate foods.
My goal with the VibinVeggies website is to create a movement of healthy people, helping others reclaim their health. I hope that you will join me in making our world a healthier place.
All this starts with you. You are important. Your habits and actions are important. We all have roles to play and your health is the most defining characteristic of how your life plays out. It defines the opportunities you can take advantage of and how well you can fulfill your obligations. How you feel, how you play, how you work, how you sleep, you how live.
You can choose to take actions that will compromise your health or you can choose to support your body.
